Welcome to the home of Seneca High School's Golden Eagle baseball team. This site provides the history of the team, in addition to current statistics, rosters and other information. Seneca High School is part of the Lenape Regional High School District. Seneca competes in the Olypmic Conference along with sister schools Lenape, Shawnee and Cherokee.
The Seneca High School baseball team finished its fourth varsity season in 2008. This season was an exciting one. It brought new faces to the baseball team. Senior Captain Dustin Worthman (York College of Pennsylvania), Damon Valloreo, Rick Carr, Bruce Kelly and G.T. Steen led the way. Returning starters Shaun Flynn and Troy Foster also helped the team this year. The team finished second in the Olympic Conference National Division behind Bishop Eustace with a division record of 6-2. The team also finished the season with a 12-9 record winning 6 of its last 8 games.
This season had several highlights. Senior Dustin Worthman and junior Shaun Flynn set a school record for hits in a game (5). Senior Dustin Worthman also set a single season record for stolen bases (14). Juniors Shaun Flynn and Troy Foster both were selected as first team members of the All-Olympic Conference Team. Senior Dustin Worthman and sophomore James Coughlin both were selected to the second team All-Olympic Conference. Junior Troy Foster was also selected as a first team member of the All-Group III team. Junior Shaun Flynn and sophomore James Coughlin were both selected as second team members of the All-Group III team.
Recently, Seneca baseball alumnus Ryan Doolittle recorded his first professional win against the Arizona League Mariners by a score of 7-1.
